Re: How does the PL fix the VAR problem?

I just look at how they do it in Rugby, with good replays, mic'ed up refs and seemingly correct decisions. I don't understand how it's so difficult in football to get it right.

Re: How does the PL fix the VAR problem?

For me, it needs to be simplified that an on-pitch decision can only be overturned if it is absolutely 100% guaranteed to be the incorrect decision - without debate from 99% of fans. Otherwise let the original decision stand. If there is debate, at all - it should stick with the ref's original decis...

Re: Plenty of positives

I only really have one criticism of our performance tonight, and that's that Brownhill is still allowed to take set pieces - aside from that, think the lads worked their socks off and in the end only some decisions against us have stopped us getting all 3 points. If we keep improving, we'll get there.

I'd love to see an opposition manager come out and publically criticise VAR when decisions go their way - why can't Cooper come out and say "We got away with one today, VAR was shocking and needs looking at". Me thinks they're too happy the results go their way and don't care for the future of the g...

I'd love to see some referees with some clout and bottle - who go up to the monitor and disagree with the plebs in the control room who clearly have no idea what they're talking about. That's what we're lacking. Missing the likes of Mike Dean who stick to their guns. "Clear and obvious" is the phras...

Strangely I have the complete opposite opinion. I think Foster was arguably our best player coming from the left. I’m not sure Taylor would have been a better fit. He is so limited technically, that he would have struggled to make the passes and play the role Vitinho was asked to do. I thought in t...

Not sure I agree. He’s always been just steady in my opinion. There’s a reason no premier league clubs are remotely interested in him. I for one think Charlie Taylor is a much better left back than the right-footed Vitinho. Irrespective of whether Charlie is good enough to play there every week for...

It doesn't really matter what qualities you think he may possess. We wouldn't see them from him in a Burnley shirt. We saw last season how significant and important 'the right attitude' was to us. The same applies to any team, anywhere at any level.of football. I've seen too many disruptive players...
