Top Don, I think I read that you were after a striker from Doncaster but failed to get him. Do you think you will have a new forward in by next week.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's more Burnley fans outside than in the ground, 50 odd years is a long time to wait and just being there enjoying the atmosphere is the next best thing.durhamclaret wrote:Away fans advised not to travel without a ticket, yeah sure, see you all up in Aderdeen UTC

Ah right, thanks for that Top Don. It's a challenge alright, can't wait to get up to Aberdeen, should be a great atmosphere.
As for the outcome, I have supported the clarets long enough to know any result is possible but I'm confident we can get through over 2 legs.

Wilks_BFC what do you mean by the fans will have to be split up ? Lincoln got all the stand from what I remember.
Has work been done on the concourse since ?
Anyway probably irrelevant now that tickets have been sold now for home fans in cricketfield.

I loved WHL such a great looking ground.[/quote]
Me too, one of my favourite grounds to visit. Boleyn Ground another. Very impressive, shiny new stadiums but can't beat the tradition and atmosphere of the old ones.

I think our performances have been improving game by game as the opponents get tougher, hopefully reaching a peak against the French on Sunday.
