How did that transfer come about? Wasn’t it a poster on here recommending him to the club?

Re: Standing in North Stand Lower - email from club
As usual been said. It has been this way for as long as I can remember. If supporters want to sit, you can get tickets for anywhere else in the ground. I fail to see how standing causes blockages to medical staff as opposed to sitting.

Re: Is long-ball football dead?
I can assure you that Dyche would have loved for Burnley to play out from the back but we just didn't have the players to risk playing that way. If he was managing Man City, Liverpool etc then his team would be playing it from the back. If Dyche wanted to play that way, he could have recruited the ...

I have said for a long while now that our fan base is amongst the worst in the country for chants. Really looking forward to the season but we need a few players still in key areas. Striker and an experienced cb are essential. I’d say 5th with this team right now.

I have visions of Dwight picking the ball up in the inside number 10 position, Blackburn defenders shitting themselves as they have ohare to their right, roberts on the overlap, Bastien baring down on them and the fear of delap in behind. He beats one, faints to shoot but plays a lovely reverse ball...

Surely the last thing we need is another CB, even with Colins going, we've got Egan-Riley, Long, McNally, THB and Thomas who can all play there if needed. And if we have any disposal cash I'd far rather we put it towards a forward who might fire us to promotion, than yet another young CB. I still f...

The squad had been neglected to such a point that to turn that around in 2 transfer windows (I’m not counting the first one as they’d only just taken over) at that level was nigh on impossible. Sounds like excuses to me, same excuses under Garlick infact. The recruitment team failed, I lay blame on Dyche, Garlick, ALK and the rest of the staff responsible.
