How long is he contracted for? Has he renegotiated his pay with his elevated status?

Don't get me wrong, I like some of their stuff and they can be very clever lyrically, but they aren't even the best at that out of Sheffield.. Jarvis cocker and pulp better.UpTheClaretsFCBK wrote:I forgotten about them this year until my news feed exploded with people saying how poor their last release was.

Yes. People have all these opinions without having listened to their music. As TVC says. He does what he wants. Always has. Their still relevant 13 years after their debut album. To be fair, Spain had that history for a long time, as did Portugal..

Re: ARTICLE: Burnley to raid the Baggies?
If a chance was taken on European talent, it might do. Dyche doesn't gamble like that though, and given his success, you can't really argue with that.cricketfieldclarets wrote:I genuinely wouldnt pay 20m for the three.
You would like to think 40m would bring you some serious first team changing talent.

Re: ARTICLE: Burnley to raid the Baggies?
Cairney's a better player than Philips, even though non of Cairney/Lansbury are even comparable to a winger like Philips. Lansbury doesn't even start for Villa, I doubt he'd cost anywhere near £6M, especially when Villa bought Lansbury for less than £3M, I don't see how he's value has doubled. Mayb...

Being as how Alan shearer was a world record transfer for 15m at the time of 'fat ronaldos' peak, I don't think he went for 30m.. But even if he did, it was 20 odd years ago.

Despite their precious abject WC performances they have dramatically improved over 12 months.
