Post match problems
As I left the ground tonight there seemed to be a problem at the traffic lights. A couple of fans shouting at a car which I assume didn’t let them cross the road, think it was a Rover 25. They shouted at the car, then gave it a couple of bangs. It then tried to drive off and hit the truck in front. ...

It would be an interesting social experiment. What aspiration would the rest of the fans have without the Bob Lord? Who would you look up to? Where would your dreams go?

How come their players never seem to get linked with moves?

Which Bournemouth players would you take?
If they go down I’d be interested in Billing and Fraser.
Poor game for Fraser when he came on but I think she would suit us. Billing is a box to box midfielder with some aggression that I like to see.

Wasn’t sure if we had a really bad 1st half or if the wind was to blame. I wonder how much the new corner stands are affecting wind at that end. Bournemouth seemed untroubled In the first half. Also, will we still have the bee hole disabled platform going forward? Surely the 2 new stands will be suf...

I don't think that it's about expectations, he just deserves a chance. Your point about him doing little in his cameo appearances is a little unfair, although I accept the traing bit. Most of his appearances have been less than ten minutes, and a player can't even get warmed up in that time. Also, ...

Who would you replace Chris wood with, should he not be fit for the Bournemouth game (assuming Barnes isn’t fit) ? If SD decides on 2 strikers then there isn’t anyone else than Vydra. We’d just gone 1-0 down at Everton late in the game and we had to try something to see if we could get back into it. The idea was to get someone up front who might win a few headers and get some knock downs. With Matt Lowton, Erik Pieters, Danny Drinkwater & Kevin Long the available sunshine who do...

It was a fantastic game, I'm still smiling today. Even if Arsenal had nicked it with a 94th minute with a handball/ offside I would still be happy today. We did more than enough to win it, but the key is the mentality and the passion/ confidence the players have had since the Leciester game. It's a ...

A few premier league “spoilt” fans on this thread. Signing an England U18 & U21 striker was quite a big deal for Burnley at the time. The bonuses are an interesting point to me- I understand these are for staying in the league.
At what stage and how can these be changed to say, finishing above 12th and a semi final of a cup (example). So how do we stretch the bonuses or make them more challenging?

I’m amazed we don’t allow teams to play from the back more. Unless you have the back line of Liverpool or City there is a huge chance they will mess it up.
Instead we seem to mark up to stop them from attempting it.
