Burnley accent is more tuneful in how our tone goes up and down and draws out certain vowels when we speak, as though we're near to singing what we're saying. It's more interesting and intelligent, as opposed to the horse botherers, they sound like the northern equivalent of Devon.

Yes and so was our football. With Foster in or another capable striker I think we coukd have done them. What a player young Al Dakhil is. He has lots of potential, but I wouldn't go so far as to say what a player he is. David Jones, undeservedly, used to get pelters for playing it sideways and back...

Can't help but think that we missed an opportunity to have solidified our defence and also retain the ability to play out from the back by not getting THB back in the squad this season. Trafford Roberts, THB, Beyer, Taylor. Would make a decent defensive unit with the ability to play football. Ah well!

Apart from the opening game, we hardly set the world alight for a good number of games. Not only did we draw almost every game, we got our ar#e handed to us on a plate by Sheffield. It wasn't until Sunderland away that things truly picked up and that was at championship level.
