Re: Burnley and Blackburn Accents
Burnley accent is more tuneful in how our tone goes up and down and draws out certain vowels when we speak, as though we're near to singing what we're saying. It's more interesting and intelligent, as opposed to the horse botherers, they sound like the northern equivalent of Devon.

To be fair, he's always said that we shouldn't expect anything against the 'top sides' while these players get used to playing his system and this league. We've taken 4 points from 2 away games against what is considered to be our competition to avoid relegation. I accept that man u were considered ...

I thought Brentford didn't have an Academy but they started one again last year because of this: "There has been a recent change in Premier League rules which means that, by the start of the 2024/25 season, all Premier League clubs must have an Academy at Category Three level or higher. Yes and so was our football. With Foster in or another capable striker I think we coukd have done them. What a player young Al Dakhil is. He has lots of potential, but I wouldn't go so far as to say what a player he is. David Jones, undeservedly, used to get pelters for playing it sideways and back...

That game said more about UTD than us. What a fall from grace, not a patch on the Alex Ferguson era. We look to have improved slightly from the previous game, but we're still a way off. The only question I have is; what is our priority as a football club, to make money on young talent or win games o...

Can't help but think that we missed an opportunity to have solidified our defence and also retain the ability to play out from the back by not getting THB back in the squad this season. Trafford Roberts, THB, Beyer, Taylor. Would make a decent defensive unit with the ability to play football. Ah well!

Blimey, that's one pessimistic review. How many did we actually lose? Sheffield United was a freak game. Yes, we conceded some silly goals, but this was a radically different team playing a radically different style of football. We've made a few signings, and we're a level up, but the style will be...

Apart from the opening game, we hardly set the world alight for a good number of games. Not only did we draw almost every game, we got our ar#e handed to us on a plate by Sheffield. It wasn't until Sunderland away that things truly picked up and that was at championship level.
