I posted on one of their forums that I thought they’d do well to finish within 30 points of us.
They took umbrage at that and called me arrogant. I absolutely stand by it, I think we’ll possibly go over 100 points.

Other than moment games (York, Scunthorpe etc) the one I enjoyed most was 3-2 away at Luton with John Spicer in goal and Ade playing like prime Drogba.
That game was crazy. It was like a cheese dream.

A friend of mine is a purveyor of vinyl - huge collection - and a reader (but not poster) on here.
He’s always available for appraisal of records and would likely purchase some if people are interested in selling.
Just as an FYI.

I’ve preferred Vintinho, but Roberts had a very good game. I have been wondering the extent to which a once in a career World Cup had been playing on Roberts’ mind. Not saying he wasn’t giving his all, but it’d only be human to have the threat of injury niggling away in his head. Free from that now...

I mean …… the last time we had a final here thousands of fans stormed the stadium and set off fireworks in their arse outside the stadium before the game.
But yeah ….. sure. We’re not treated fairly. It’s everybody else’s fault.

I disagree. There’s an undertone on here, on Twitter and at the games that people don’t quite trust this team or staff. In seriousness, it's fair for him to want to play at the best level possible to get into the Dutch team (particularly if Van Gaal told him he needed to). Evidentially, all the players who left were taken by PL clubs or purchased by a PL club last season. So, no arguments. Brownhill wasn't and neither was Zaroury. I was just looking up Steve Bruce's career on Wiki. It seems in 1999, while manager of Huddersfield, he wrote a trio of novels: Striker!, Sweeper! and Defender!. I don’t think too many other prospective Premier League managers would agree quite so much with Richard Keys on modern football.

Watching the clips of Dervisoglu, it's notable that he seems to drop deep as opposed to playing as a dedicated 9. It's becoming clearer and clearer (especially after last night, with Rodriguez adopting a False 9 position for the majority of the game) that Kompany really doesn't see us having the us...

We had to drop Jack Cork back into the centre halves at goal kicks last night as he didn’t win a header. The moment when Muric came out for the free kick was to help his centre backs as they couldn’t compete in the air. The Hull goal at the Turf came from him coming to the half way line for a header...

There were times where he was running into positions the centre forward would take. The movement with Jay or Tella drifting wide and Vitinho running through the middle was superb.

I love Sean Dyche. I think he did a brilliant job. But there’s absolutely no way he gets the Leicester, Forest or Villa jobs.
