Southgate's problem IMHO is he is to cautious, a braver coach would have got us to the world cup final. He has a lot of good qualities if he added bravery to them he may well be the ideal manager.

I listened to the first half of the Wales game on talk sport, Dean Saunders was the pundit he talked like a fan however my overriding impression is that he just sounded like Uncle Bryn from Gavin and Stacey.

Not happy with what situation? Dyche is under contract until next summer in any case but we don’t know whether he’s been offered a new one and if he has whether he’s likely to sign it. The owners want him to stay so I’m assuming they’ve had contract talks but then they have to agree it with goodnes...

Not happy with this situation. I am beginning to think SD is waiting for a job offer, if none materialises he will sign,Wolves,Everton,Spurs don't want him, Palace would appear to prefer a more expansive manager hence Nuno, now Cooper etc. This is damaging recruitment, the board won't sanction spend...

Great manager for us, stabilised us and brought in possibly one of our best ever players in Ian Wright because of the admiration Wright had for Stan as a coach and person. A that was required was a decent free kick by Gascoigne and we would have been in the championship play offs as well.

Totally agree, considering we had to spend a fortune on lights for the tele when we got into the Prem the shadow was annoying. Nothing you can do about the sun and stadium orientation, however filming from the other side might have improved it or floodlights.
