Re: Lewis Richardson
The lad is part of the England set up for his age group and very highly rated, not just by us. He scores pretty often for the U18s (and U23s) but has had a couple of injury hold ups over the recent past. CT or Leisure will fill in much more than I can, but I was really pleased to see him on and actu...

Re: So will we stay up or not
What we have to admit, is that if we do go down and say Fulham (for example) get out of it, then we'll deserve to. It will be a combination of factors, such as poor recruitment and spending, injuries (which every team gets) and basically not being good enough, often enough. (Fulham got a 0-0 at Spur...

Re: Tottenham versus MIGHTY CLARETS
Not Dyche's fault. Recruitment has been non existent for 3 (4?) windows now and it's all catching up. A paper thin squad and too many players not really up to it. Our only serious spend being Brownhill and tbh, he works bloody hard, but he isn't PL quality or indeed a winger. We never expected owt t...

Lets hope if he gets a chance and it doesn't go to plan then he doesn't get the appalling abuse Joel Mumbongo as had do put up with. I honestly don't think Mumbongo got abuse. I think we have to expect and accept that Pope will sit alongside Tarks this summer in so much as he will be greatly in demand, our heads will be turned by huge sums of cash being dangled in front of us and the player himself will see several brilliant opportunities at much bigger clubs. Re our openers. Burns is a good player imo and has shown it in the past, so a dodgy trot doesn't change that and I'd be sticking with him, but Sibley either gets out cheaply or bats an absolute eternity for his 50 and I'd be looking to someone else tbh.

I actually do think that IF we can pull it off this season, then there will definitely be investment in the summer as everybody at the club from Alan Pace down to Doris the tea lady knows we won't get away with it again. If by some chance there isn't major incoming in the summer, then we might as we...

So it would make sense to have a bet at 8/1 on Burnley being relegated. To get odds of 8/1 on something that you judge in your wisdom to be 4/6 is an amazing offer and too good to turn down, Surely you will be putting your money where your mouth is. But I NEVER bet on owt! (And I know for a fact th...

As mentioned above, one of the characteristics of our last 5 years has been not actually creating very many chances, but putting away a healthy proportion of those we do create. Derogatory term "the Gas" given to Bristol Rovers by Bristol City fans, due to large gas works close to their old ground at Eastville, where the pungent smell of gas would sometimes waft across the stadium affecting those inside the ground. So looks like CT was insulting them with the title of his ...

Agree that a performance against Man United is not the best barometer, and also that Saint-Maximim is a top player that could make the difference. He looked good last night, as did Newcastle first half. Newcastle have easier games coming up that are now critical for them. You can't be too harsh on ...

I do not think that we struggled against Fulham. They fluked a goal but did little else. We had some clear cut chances besides the goal, which we did not create against WBA. Against WBA we struggled big time and were definitely very lucky not to lose. Fair enough. I do agree, we weren't that bad ag...

Re: Newcastle In Real Trouble?
I honestly don't think losing away at Man U who are going pretty well this season and second in the table, means an awful lot. That game has come at a bad time for Toon as it makes a bad situation appear on the surface a whole lot worse, but they'll get easier fixtures and in Saint-Maxim they have a...

They lost by the only goal of the game the other night and apparently it was as a result of a howler from on loan CB Bobby Thomas which was a real shame as the only time I've seen him play he was excellent.
