Despite getting a tap in, Andre Gray missed two great chances with shocking finishes. That said, he was no where nearly as bad as Joselu was for Newcastle.

We should take it seriously regardless as it is a competition we have a realistic chance of doing well in. In recent years it's been won by Wigan and Portsmouth, while Hull, Stoke and Palace have all made the final. No reason why we can't achieve similar.

He definitely has something about him...quick, can beat a man, but seems to hold onto the ball too long and then either gets dispossessed or makes a bad decision. Maybe he doesn't have that "footballing brain" that is required to be a "top top" player.

Best Burnley team of all time
In the 50s/60s and the early part of last century we were a force to be reckoned with, winning the league and regularly challenging for the top places. While by no means title contenders, we are once again up there challenging the best. So, would any of our current squad get in or close to being in ...

Thanks to all who have contributed to this thread. My next question would be, where is the best place to find an independent financial adviser, what qualifications should they hold and how much should one cost? I’m not sure whether to get advice or to go it alone at this moment in time. Thanks agai...

We’ve never really scored or conceded many under Dyche. The occasional 3 or 4 scored in the Championship and 3 or 4 conceded in be Prem, but nothing like the latter days of Ternent’s reign (thank God) when 5+ at either end seemed to be the norm!!

Depends who’s available. If there is someone who available for the right money and is an upgrade on what we have got in any position then we should try to sign them. That said, I don’t think we need to sign anyone.

I’ve got a fair chunk in this fund, but to be honest it just proves to me that you can’t beat passive funds over the long term. On average I think that is true as the average active fund will underperform the average passive fund over time simply due to the fact that charges of the former are highe...

Woodford has suffered some casualties in his fund of late which have damaged performance, not least Provident Financial which he owned around 20% of and has seen it fall from well over £30 to well under £10 this year, as well as suspending dividends. He is now seeing redemptions which are never heal...

Is this what used to be the RAC rally many years ago? That was a great event in the 80’s when we had the group B cars like the Audi Quattro, Lancia Delta S4 and Metro 6R4, but rallying seems to have become a bit of a motor racing backwater these days.
