Re: Dyche expects tough window
Don’t know why anyone thinks it will affect our chances of staying up. Any signing will sit on the bench until the start of next season until they are ‘Dyche fit’

Re: Feel Sorry For SD
Vydra could have started - and he'd have come off after 45 minutes. Yeah - superb decision that would have been. 1. On what basis do you know he would only last a half? 2. We lost. We’re bottom of the league. Goals are at a premium. It’s not panic stations but it looks grim. I’m not sure what a sup...

Re: Feel Sorry For SD
Easy to absolve Dyche of any blame but it’s not the full story. Why buy Vydra and not start him? Can’t blame fitness now.
Dyche has a lot of credit in the bank but he is as much to blame about the state of the squad as the board are.

Re: Imagine a countdown on life...
I'd like to know if there was a countdown clock. I'd not waste a single second of my time. [...] I'd certainly not be writing this post if I knew I only had a short time left on this earth. Picking on Macca but a few comments like this. Whether we can see it or not there is countdown clock ticking ...

Re: Disney world Florida
As this thread shows there is no end of choice in the Orlando area. Whether you want a blow out or are on a budget with a quick google search you’ll find it. As you mentioned you are going with kids the only advice I would give is GO. I’d been a few times as a kid and adult and loved it but nothing ...

Runaway - Running to every away ground
Not seen this posted on here yet (after searching - happy to be wrong). There is a Claret fan running to every single away ground this season before we play the fixture. Aim is to raise money for BFC in the community. He set off for Southampton after the Aberdeen game and has just hit London. It’s b...

Re: Do the decent thing ITV!
Why do you need someone to tell you what you are watching with your own eyes. Some pundits, say Pat Nevin for example, add value to the game by offering insight that wouldn’t occur otherwise such as tactical Nuances or first hand experience from playing the game. Only the gash ones describe what is...

Listening to Martin Keown talk drivel for 90 mins is like torture. He paps absolutely sh*te.
Both sides are a mixed bag - prefer BBC commentators, Linekar over Pougatch but the ITV pundits for the England games as they are partisan and amusing to watch

Re: Bitter about Aberdeen
There were 2000 tickets. That’s not enough to make sure that everyone who has been there through thick and thin no matter what system was chosen. It’s hard lines for those who missed out, just as it would have been on those who missed out if another system was picked. Probably could have sold the ti...

Re: OT Noel Gallager
People judging the quality of Liam’s singing are missing the point. Fans don’t love him because he can sing beautifully, they love him because of the way they feel when he sings. He was the voice of my teenage years and whenever he sings now it instantly transports me back to that era. Great rock an...

Re: The League’s Top Divers
I see a difference between players who make the referee make a decision vs those who cheat / dive. Falling over without contact is wrong, cheating and should be punished - completely outside the spirit of the game. Falling over with a bit of contact is snide but part of the game for me. Barnes is an...

Agree. I was thinking this today when I saw the bench and Taylor was the only defender. We have done really well having a conveyer belt of replacements, hopefully we'll see the same in January.

This is the beauty of football. I reckon the amount of Burnley fans who were happy that we had Scotty on the wing instead of Brady could fit in a minibus. Probably similar amount of West Ham fans that thought they'd beat Chelsea. If we were all 'experts' we'd be millionaires off the accas we put on ...

Unfortunately think both Hull and Swansea will win. Hull are very good at home and Stoke looked a very poor team away from home when they played us.

Re: when this season is over ??
Why do some people find negatives in any situation? If we achieve the minor miracle of stopping up please take a moment away from your worries and celebrate. As for our best players leaving, a similar thing happened at the end of our last PL season - didn't do us that much harm did it and arguably w...

Re: Major shock in Copeland by election..
What's going on with the LibDems? They lost 17.5% of their vote in Stoke. I think the Lib Dems are dead as a party. The abandonment of their manifesto / principles during their time in coalition has made them a pariah for most of their former supporters (me included). They had so much potential / h...

Re: Major shock in Copeland by election..
Part of the problem is the level of denial from Corbyn, McDonnell and their supporters. The message that they are not connecting with the majority of traditional Labour voters (or MPs) seems to be completely lost on them. I honestly can't fathom it - whilst their commitment to standing firm to a set...

In a binary choice - yes. Edit - to clarify Corbyn is that bad that yes I'd rather vote for a lunatic whose policies I don't agree with.

Trump. Whether you agree with his policies or not (and I don't) he is the first politician in my memory to come into power and start to implement the policies he promised during the campaign. Instead of the weasel generation of politicians we currently have - for examples the Lib Dems who as soon as...
