But the referees (through the instructions they have been given) reward that cheating. If cheating was punished rather than rewarded it would be a much more risky option and far fewer players would do it. Not surprised he's only 41. He was the original fast tracked ref wasn't he? You can't make it to the PL as a ref in your 30s and have had any meaningful experience of playing football. That's why these guys are all so poor.
