I refuse to accept that any contact with Carroll was more than smokescreen. It simply does not fit with what we have always been told ALK and Burnley will be operating. Well, we convinced Maxwell to join us. Not sure if we would have been successful with that bid though if we would have been bottom of the Premier League at the time with relegation clauses in the contract.

So, if that article is correct and it says that the first payment to the directors was over £100m and ALK only put in £15m with the rest coming from the clubs resources, isn’t that the same as saying the previous directors found a way of withdrawing all the clubs bank funds into their own pockets?

I don't think the tactics were wrong, the players just weren't fresh enough after the midweek game. Totally different energy levels to what we showed against United.

Look at Yooshi and DNAxCAT for some tokens still with major potential and plenty of utility in the gaming / metaverse play.

Like anything though they are dependent on BTC holding or going up. When we enter a bear market all tokens will start to dump so get your timing right.

Awesome news. Fair play to ALK, this is a signing for the first team that will definitely improve us.

I hope there is at least one more. As suggested above, Barnes is past his best and we'd be far more effective with another pacey striker.

I miss the days we had Frank McParland at the club. The evening we got a sniff we might be interested in a bid for Andre Grey, and the very next morning he was signed. This ******* around with 1 million here and there and slightly increasing terms will always mean we miss out on any quality players....
