Re: Less than two weeks, what do we need?
I think we definitely need a goalkeeper. Our defence if it can be called that, looks very vulnerable and confidence has to come from the last line. We need another CD to play alongside our only decent defender and a combative forward who can play as a one or in a two if the formation determines. The...

Not one for a knee jerk reaction but in the end that draw felt like a defeat. I hope lessons have been learnt, the first being we need more height in the team, this is a physical league.

I always felt Deli Alli was destined to be a top player but the alarm bells starting ringing when Mouriniho took over at Spurs and it didn't take long for Conte to show him the door. Its a shame because he reminded me very much of Johnny White as a former Tottenham legend from my youth.

Ive no doubt were moving in the right direction and appreciate we need to be patient. To dominate a match possession wise (77%) and only come out with a draw is concerning. I still think we're 3 players short of being really competitive at the top end of this division. We need more physicality in th...

Completely over inflated fee for this lad imo. However that's the price top PL sides are prepared to pay to beat off competition and get a quick solution. I'm just glad, in hindsight, that we're doing our major rebuild in the Championship where fees are in the main more realistic.

I too think its too early to make any predictions. Too many if's, but's and maybe's. One thing I can say for certain is that the Championship is a tough league with about 20 wannabe's. I for one am under no illusions, it will not be a 'cake walk' as some seem to think.
