Another point I would make is that Dyche is more of an on old school club manager with full control over everything that goes on, which means a hands on coaching approach is probably just not doable. Ronaldo is simply brilliant. Every touch, every pass, every header, every shot achieves something positive. He is incredibly productive. Spain have 11 world class players. Portugal have 10 average players and 1 who is just on another planet to everyone else!

Can we just get behind the guy and support him? He’s clearly someone who needs to feel wanted to get the best out of him. Back him and I’m sure he’ll deliver more often than not. Depression is a horrible illness and I wouldn’t want to see him go back into that state of mind again.

He needs the ball playing into space for him to run on to. Seemed to keep getting passed to with his back to goal and then just got forced back. Some sloppy passing though.

At the end of the day, Pickford, Butland and Hart all have much more experience than Pope at picking the ball out of the back of their own net, something that will no doubt be required as England's number 1.
