Re: Will Maguire push up Tarkowski's value?
I'm not convinced with the idea that Ben Mee can only play on the left side because of his silky skills with his left foot. I reckon he tackle anyone, anywhere, his positioning is fine, and he doesn't have Stones-like overconfidence so he knows how to play the ball to safety with either foot. As for...

It's a mess for sure but wasn't his foot in front of the last defender, as in scoring part of the body? Harsh but offside. 100% certain to be a goal pre VAR as would the disallowed one yesterday because the match officials didn't raise an issue. I'm dreading getting back to the Miners at 6.15 from ...

As for it being free for the over 75s, like winter fuel allowance, like bus passes, IMO it should all be means tested. Why does a millionaire pensioner need a winter fuel allowance and a free bus pass. All benefits should be means tested. People will say it will cost too much to means tested but su...

Comment overheard yesterday: 'England should have been in the Final. We were robbed of a goal because Lingard was only just offside, it should have stood'. I have no idea why Sarri got the Chelsea job, but it wasn't to do with race. If Chelsea were determined to employ a white man and only a white man, they could still have found a white man who had won trophies. It's not as if he was the only white man available.
