For Sal and Boavista that's about right. Outside of the resorts it's 'Africa on Sea' rather than 'Europe on a small island', As noted it can be bloody windy - popular with the wind surfers - but the beer's drinkable and the local grog, once you acquire the taste is interesting. Yep, I specifically remember one point (near end of 1st half) where Aubameyang when down holding his leg after we got the ball off him in his half. 5 seconds later when we’d lost the ball and they countered quickly, he was sprinting like mad down the left wing.
