I thought he was lucky to stay on, I think if it was a defender or defensive midfielder he would of gone. Refs seem to give the more gifted attacking players more leeway, he's an attacker coming back they can't tackle properly, cue sniggering from the attackers on the panel.

I think all celebrating is excessive, you should just run back and get on with the game. Bloody show ponies the lot of them. Ward should of rolled around on the floor with his hands up and arched his back several times, just like there player. Particularly liked it how he took him out then just ran ...

Re: Dune film
I liked the original book but I thought the sequels gradually tailed off. The prequels, written by his son and another author, were actually pretty good though. The film was entertaining in a David Lynch kind of way but I think there's too much there to make a film that's representative of the book...

What a wonderful player we have the opportunity to watch, that goal was brilliant. His angles of running are brilliant, his first touch is the best I've ever seen and the way he hassles and nicks the ball is absolutely superb. I think we are watching a player that's on a higher level that most of us...

They are not going to sell unless they get an offer they can't turn down.
No one is going to offer that money for a player whose contract is running out.
I can maybe see it happening if we stay up but I think we need to look elsewhere for this season.

It was strange when Defoe came on that he had absolutely no influence on the game, the only thing he did was take the kick off and look stunned when the ref gave Flanagan that free-kick.
