Re: Match day programme
Bearing in mind that paper lasts for ever (more or less) and is infinitely renewable, while the electricity used to power mobile phones is not, I suspect the environmental benefits aren't all they're cracked up to be. You could well be right. It depends if we use paper quicker than we can replace t...

Everton for the drop I hope. Decent club but they need to have a season in the Championship to ‘re-group’ I think. They have spent too many seasons now flirting with relegation. To be fair it's public knowledge that our manager is on the shortlist for 2 of the biggest clubs in the country, that in most normal seasons play in the CL / EL - something City would like on the CV of Pep's future replacement. The state that both of them are in at the moment it seems difficult VK ...

What an odd thread. Unless I’ve missed something VK is our manager, why are you discussing his replacement? Speaking of also ran’s. I have always thought that the Champion’s League is probably the most inappropriately named tournament in the world given that most of the teams in it aren’t. How do you qualify for a ‘champions’ tournament for finishing fourth? Ridiculous money making excercise.

I'd much rather Leeds went down. I have no animosity to Leeds or Everton (or Sean Dyche) but I want Everton to go down simply for their own good. Amidst all our excitement tonight I’d almost forgot Stanley we’re playing at Bolton. Absolutely terrific win against a team who have beat them twice already this season. Really hope they can make it. 2 points adrift with two to play. All to do but fingers crossed.

People think you are the favourites for going up via play offs, and best of luck to you. You’re main problem is Luton are playing out of their skins at the moment. You and them in the final would be some game to watch.

I think now we will stroll to 101. No pressure. Won it at Ewood (did he tell them to ease off?). Bristol nothing to play for (their heads will be on the beach). Cardiff are Rubbish. Only thing that will stop it is if VK gives the fringe lads a run out, which I wouldn’t blame him for.

I’ll never forget Cochran’s goal but for sheer satisfaction it must be our late equaliser back in the seventies (was it Flynn). I was behind the goal in the Darwen end and jumped so high I landed badly on the terrace and limped out of the ground with a sprained ankle. But did I care? Not a jot.
