The oldest two on that list that I saw were Ken Barrington and Colin Cowdrey. Barrington was known for his slow patient approach to batting but Cowdrey was a superb player to watch. I'm not sure how Cowdrey would cope today, he wasn't the fittest looking of gentlemen and spent his time in the field ...

Good news for the club, even though I really would’ve loved to have seen the kid’s kit without a sponsor again, this year especially. I think the kids would love to see them the same as the ones the players where but I do know they've been more popular with no alternative sponsor on than with one.
