I am on my way to Durham ( on a very fast train) for an Open Day at the university tomorrow. Any tips on what I should visit / have a look at up there ( besides the cathedral)..?

I am currently watching the BAFTA'S, not something I normally bother with, award programmes. Just to say Spike Lee won an award just now for 'Black Klansman'...I saw an excellent interview this morning with Andrew Marr where he was [jokingly] complaining about never winning an award at the BAFTA's.....

I've tried them all and my favourite by far is the Holiday Inn [Ightenhill]

Newish and clean, decent bar, 'free' breakfast, rooms/beds just what you want, tons of parking, walk to the Turf down the canal bank, and crucially a scrote free zone.

nil..before you or any of your pals start,.. remember that Italy went into recession last week, and last time I looked Italy wasn't doing it's own southern European version of Brexit.
