When you visit the ESB there is a sports bar on the opposite side to the entrance and they serve the biggest fish and chips I’ve ever had. Not cheap as nothing is there but it went down well with a few Stella’s.
Can’t remember the name of it but it is typical New York bar, narrow and long.

Kick off after a goal.

Just wondering why after a team scores the opposition get the kick off from the centre spot handing the advantage to them. It’s almost like you are penalised for scoring. Why doesn’t the scoring side kick off? I know it has always been this way but just wondering how they originally came up with thi...

The reason I ask about the unsold kit is that a friend of mine who is currently in the British forces in Africa helping kids in poor parts of the country has asked if anyone knows of any organisations that could donate football kit to the youngsters over there.

The aerial combat scenes are good and they show the frightening intensity of flying through flack. Of course the US airmen are really cool and the brief encounter with some RAF pilots in a pub paints our boys to be complete upper class snobs even if the yanks eventually admit they were right.
