We conceded 41 times in 19 with Joe and 19 in 14 with Tom. Many of us were saying the difference and only change from last season was the keeper and Joe had not made many howlers so why? If we noticed this why didn’t Sean and why 19 games to decide and not 10 or 15?

A change after today will be too little too late although if Bardsley gets booked he will miss our next two games I think. Isn't today the last game after which a 10th yellow doesn't count and you have to have 15 before any suspensions?

If alcohol and tobacco appeared now for the first time they too would be banned. Personally I think legalising drugs should occur but the problem would be that if we taxed them like booze and cigs there would still be the uncontrolled muck coming onto our streets much like we have with illicit booze...

Eventually pleaded guilty and one assumes did three years without any problems, so standard 50% remission in jail although he will remain under licence and can be recalled at anytime if he violates his parole conditions
