The Sun also got the name of the league wrong in the headline.
How ******* difficult is it to remember it's known as The Premier League?

i remember Colin Waldron scoring a last minute equaliser that was disallowed at Blackpool in the FA Cup. The ref saw something nobody else did but there was no analysing it because it wasn't televised. One that did get caught on camera was Brian O'Neil punching one in against Leeds but that was a ph...

We won't go down, so no need to look back at all. 14th is the lowest position we will finish - anyway, things even themselves out over the course of the season. We may have out luck to come yet This is clearly nonsense and is usually spouted by the likes of Merson and Nicholas. How will it even its...

It's pennies for City though and there's a chance he could be worth tens of millions in 4 or 5 years' time.
And if he isn't they won't lose any sleep, I don't know what the fuss is about, it's not much of a gamble.

I think Defoe would be fantastic for us. He guarantee we scored enough goals to stay up, ensure a relegation spot was taken by Sunderland and what a mentor for Gray who is a very similar player. I'd break to bank and wage structure to get him in for the remainder of the season with the understandin...

There are some standout moments from that season and others that I can barely recall. For example, we thumped Crewe at home, we beat the runaway league leaders Northampton too. And I can still recall Leighton James' free kick at the Cricket Field End against Southend in a 2-1 win (a 'tubby' Leighto...

I was at Crewe and remember their fans dancing on the pitch at the end laughing at us as they, like us, thought we were going down.
I thought we'd win the last game but couldn't see the other two slipping up. It was an awful feeling knowing it was out of our hands.

We've already tried to stamp out racism from the stands and introduced Balti pies but these incentives haven't worked. What we need to do is bring in a rule which says that for every, say, 5 white British season ticket holders we must have an Asian season ticket holder. And if we don't get the Asia...

I think 1972/73 because there were no worries about coming straight back down and we had so many players approaching the peak of their careers.
We spent a pittance on Peter Noble and finished sixth in the top flight the following season.
