Re: Peter Crouch on Dyche

He also said recently he felt humiliated and like a head on a stick just coming on for the last 10 mins for us to hoof the ball to him. That was why he retired although did not just happen to him at Burnley. Loved the Peter Crouch Pod Cast. Seems like a decent guy but he is starting to become a but ...

Should have been an easier win although was pretty comfortable. We were cruising and then a stupid mistake and we switched off for the last 10 mins of the first half. It took 5 mins from the ball hitting the net until kick off because of VAR. Added time at the end of the half was 2 minutes and there were a couple of other stoppages. What the **** is that all about? Mind you I'd had enough by then so was quite happy to hear the half time whistle at the time.

Yes offside a lot. Dyche obviously tells him to play on the shoulder of the last man and put doubt in the defenders mind. Used the same tactic with Gray who was also always offside. Some of them are totally unnecessary though and it is extremely frustrating.

Don't blame Dyche for the starting line up. We were playing well and should have put the game to bed. What frustrates me about Dyche is his inability to effectively change things when things go wrong. His team's never seem to know how to break teams down when we go behind.
