Its not amazing really. Given the squad they have. They rarely have to get out of second gear domestically.
Wood is average in my opinion. Replacing our most valuable striker with a player whos best season to date is the exact same as Rouwen Hennings - 17 in Bundesliga 2 is not a recipe for success.

The bundesliga outside Bayern and one or two others is very poor standard. And HSV have been one of the biggest underachievers for years. Wood is an average player in a poor team.

Thats all well and good. But sometimes the collective is better than the individual components and I definitely feel that is the case.
Vokes is a good player. And fantastic alongside a smaller, faster player. Lets hope we get that in rather than leaving vokes up top on his own.

Quite like the look of Zapata. Has the key ingredients for success in the PL, and what we need: Pace, power, big lad, can handle the loan role if required. Granted he hasn't been banging in the goals but we're unlikely to find a 15-20 goal season striker within our budget. A season loan with an agr...

Not convinced that Long is clinical enough to be what we really need, although his ability to play wide and up front would be attractive. He's on big old wages too. Mame Biram Diouf might be one shout, who is relatively well established in the Premier League and reportedly not completely happy play...

It's pretty common for clubs towards the bottom end of the ladder to sell players before replacing them - that's just the nature of the game. Beating the club with a stick over this before waiting to see the end result of the transfer window is as stupid as it is predictable. Problem is we have sol...

Police weren't responsible for sentencing after looking at the facts through non-tinted spectacles. Just a thought. But they are responsible for the arrests and the charges. The sentencing is then based on guidelines of the charges they received. But this was a debate 8 years ago on the old forum.
