Re: Weghorst to… Man United?

If we get (broadly speaking) our money back and Weghorst gets his chance at a massive club, everyone’s a winner really. Would have been interesting to see him in this side as I think he’d suit it but he’s perhaps not the profile in age that Kompany (and Pace) want to operate with. Getting £10m or so...

Re: Weghorst to… Man United?

Kompany may well fancy having a look at him. Trouble is, there’s far too many on here who have written him off so he’d just be a scapegoat I’m afraid. As much as I’d love to see him play in this team, I think sadly we have seen the last of him. Without diverting this into one of the forty Weghorst ...

If it was a broken or fractured foot he wouldn’t have been hanging around in a boot at the end of the game. You can certainty see why we’re after another centre-half though. Looked a bad one just on the basis of his reaction. Hard to tell what it was, but could be a broken/fractured foot or something like this (metatarsal etc). Pure speculation obviously, just what occurred when it happened and then seeing him in his boot at the end.

Doubt that. Just being very cautious after such a long time out, I think. Waiting for the right game to throw him into, probably more likely to see him when we are a goal or 2 down and facing a low block. I can’t see us being two goals down in the near future! Yes he might get a chance against a lo...

McNally doesn't seem to be near the first team even in the Championship, so if we go up he'd have had to go from League 1 to the Premier League. Played 14 of their 18 league games this season (1 goal, 4 assists)

Worth pointing out that is in the second tier of Turkey as far as I can tell, as opposed to their Premier League.
