Re: I’m so sick of Kompany
We’re down due to his and Pace’s decisions in the transfer market. You couldn’t keep this squad up with Guardiola in charge, it’s unbalanced and full of glitter covered nuggets of shite that don’t work hard. That said, Vinny is a 101 point title winning manager at Championship level. Why dispense an...

Re: Toffees vs Clarets Match Thread
Hoping that Everton get more points deducted and Luton stay up. They've basically cheated and it is helping them this season, albeit they are still a shockingly poor team. To be honest this might be to our benefit. Everton would surely be in firesale mode and possibly have a points deduction if the...

I appreciate that we had to pretend we still were in a ‘relegation fight’ prior to this game, but surely that pretence can now cease. I don’t want to see Assignon or Fofana play for us again - it serves absolutely no purpose whatsoever now.

End of the day muric has made one mistake but the fact is had muric played 31 games in the league this season we wouldn’t be in the bottom 3 I rate Muric and he should be our number 1 in the Championship next season. Can’t believe people are proclaiming that’s us now relegated due to the Muric error. We’ve been relegated since about October. We’ve won 4 games in 31 games and would need to win another 4 in the remaining 7, including today, and then still hope for a points deduction to on or two clubs above us, ag...

I’d like Plymouth to stay up as it’s a ground I’ve never been to and always wanted to visit. Whittaker has a good games/goals ratio but I haven’t seen enough to judge whether he would suit Kompany’s very specific requirements.

I think everyone rated Kurt, just hated his departure and then his enjoyment at scoring against us (again, and again and again…). Still remember him cupping his ears and running directly in front of us laughing at Deepdale. We had the last laugh that day though (Neil Moore, 2-3!).

I just mentioned him on another thread but I reckon he fits the moniker of 'divisive' too - Paul Barnes. They’ve suffered terribly since they lost to Preston in the League One Play-Off’s in 2015. Relegated twice and flirted with relegation to National League Nirth at times. Weird one this as you’d think it would be the Dyche, Kompany and Coyle eras. Always hope, but not expectation. Realism says we’re still a team capable of leaking goals, but we have scored 2 in each of our last two games which is progress. We need to beat a big side to have a chance - big boy pants time required at Chelsea.
