Re: PAUL FLETCHER
It was his only goal of the season and I don't think he netted again until September of 71/2 when we battered Orient. So I was right. It was his first. Rather a good goal. I recalled it as being mishit somewhat. It sparked a fair old celebration on the Longside. POWER TO THE CLARETS! as Burnley fan...

PAUL FLETCHER
I believe this was Paul Fletcher's first goal for Burnley. I was at the match. We all thought this win was significant. We both went down.

Just been to King George's Hall to watch Robert Plant and you could hear the Ewood crowd from the town centre. I'm assuming it was Ipswich fans though must have been quite a few there......! Also saw Sam Allardyce or at least it looked exactly like him at the gig. Robert Plant and his band were fan...

Re: HAPPY MONDAY!. FOREST, points deduction?
Not sure this is clever. Best case, 1-2 points added back. Worse case, 3-4 more points taken away. As it stands they should finish above Luton. Take more points away, it starts to become less likely. We could be kingmakers in the final game even if we are down, we may have to decide who we want dow...

I don't say anywhere that he's a top class Premier League striker so I'm not spinning anything. We went into a PL season with Foster as our main striker and Jay Rod as back up. Surely Wout would have been a better option? He holds the ball up well and is skillful. He looks good when playing for Holland. I think a lot of Burnley fans dislike him because they think he has an attitude. How does any fan know? Anyway, the Dutch tend to say exactly what they think.

It all depends on whether we get promoted in a season or possibly two. Whilst it would be a failure if we didn’t, there's obviously no guarantee it would happen, and it's hard to see what resources we will have next season. If we don't swiftly get promoted it will be a very bad thing. If we don't g...
