Had to check but I see Paul Weller carried on playing for us for another 6 years until 2004 ! I had no recollection of West Ham being interested in him. He now manages Colne of course.

Test cricket is so fantastic when it's as good as this series has been. Last year v India was pretty good too. Listening to TMS and watching on Sky are both fantastic pleasures.
England certainly didn't deserve to lose this series so it's only right that they won today.

He was a great header of the ball as has been pointed out but I also associate him with constantly, and frustratingly, being penalised by refs when challenging for high balls . Maybe I’m wrong but that’s my recollection.

I have no idea what the truth is whether we are or aren’t trying to sign Tella but I’m genuinely taken aback at some of the scepticism about his ability and value for money on here. His pace, deadly finishing and fantastic pressing was absolutely key for us last season. I’d love to have him back.

Defending that corner is the closest Foster has been to scoring for months.
Except he’s come closer in this match. What on earth was Trafford doing though for that corner that flashed across goal ?. We’ve been decent second half and some nice flashes from Koleosho.
