Re: Kompany on January signings
Moving some on, be that on permanent or loan deals, is the starting point. From there we really need to be looking at full backs, central midfield and a striker. If there are some incomings, I hope that at least one is an experienced, drag the team by the scruff of the neck type player. The way our ...

Re: David De Gea
De Gea or Onana, I know which one I’d want in my team - it’d be the one currently sat in his arse with no club. This fascination with goalkeepers who can pass it around as well as an outfield player is all well and good, if you can find one. Aside from Ederson, Muric and at a push, Alisson (he’s pro...

I suspect that timeframes will be difficult to put on his return. Even if there are some targets in place, it’s unlikely that updates will be provided, and rightly so. It looked like Kompany instructed JBL to tuck his shirt in, during the first half, presumably to make it more obvious when his shirt was being pulled, which it was on a number of occasions.
Either that or VK is a stickler for having a well presented team.

I called him out at the time, for some of his posts (don’t recall any racist ones). Berge is not a dynamic player. You can see that in the games he’s played. Given time on the ball he can play in this ‘pivotal’ position as you call it. The reality is that in too many games he won’t be given this time and I’m sure VK knows this. You see him as a one dimensional player , I see him b...

If we can avoid being bullied, which won’t be easy, 2-1 to us.
Don’t do that and it could be a frustrating 8th defeat.
Looking forward to this one - hoping it’ll be like one of the many good games from last season in the championship.

It’s signings in the right positions that are desperately needed.
I was hoping that we might be within touching distance of safety, come January.
We won’t be and that will make January mightily difficult to attract the type of players that we need.
Its become a right old mess, unfortunately.

It’s telling that Luton, LUTON, are five points ahead of us and managing to pick wins up. I took one to Sheffield Wednesday away 09/08/08. Not only were we walloped but said flapjack was confiscated on entry, in case I decided to throw it rather than eat it.
The confiscation annoys me more than the result, now!
