Re: January Transfer Window Discussion - Rumours and Links welcome

Huge rebuilding job in Summer if we don’t sign anyone. Past record in transfer windows wouldn’t fill me with much confidence we could achieve this. Also only a few injuries away from not being strong enough as we saw in the first few games. Hoping we don’t just end the window with no strengthening,...

Re: WSL sky sports news

It’s a really interesting debate with so many angles. If I’m being honest, all of the coverage and seeing it presented alongside men’s football across various media platforms, isn’t for me. I’d much rather see it given its own section, channel, page to be seen by those that choose to do so. I think ...

This is always going to cause division between supporters and it’ll be largely down to which badge you grew up with. I started watching in 1988 so that’s the badge I grew up with. As been said, if we hadn’t got promoted in 2009 which coincided with the 50th celebration kit using 1960 badge, we woul...

Re: New Badge

I'd be in favour of going back to the 1979 badge, or a new badge. The one currently used is a mess. It isn't distinctive and is too cluttered. It looks old and not in a good way at all. A good question maybe is to ask which components of either badge do supporters think are most important to retain...

Upset of the season according to the MOTD pundits, have they forgotten our win at Anfield less than a week ago. A good win for the Blades, sadly for them they only have a visit to the Etihad this weekend. I wouldn’t disagree with the pundits. They’re bottom of the league, Man United second a...

I think too much is being read into Pace’s comments. We’ll see if this is the case over the next few days. To say that we don’t need to strengthen is fine, assuming key players stay fit. The links to the likes of Collins, Kenny and Knight are nice to see - younger players with potential to develop. All positions that I’d like to see us improve on or have strong cover for.

King is a good player but I’m not convinced he’d be a good fit for us, but I could be wrong.

Resigning Gray would be a backwards step. I don’t have a name but I do wonder if we’d be better with someone more versatile - effective on the right or up front.

The wages he will be on, on top of any fee (even as part of a swap for Vydra) wouldn’t make it worth while for what he’d bring to the club.
