Re: Cornet gone/going
I have a feeling he may stay. I just think the social media coverage is too much for a player who is off. Also I noticed maxwel posted a training picture the other day saying “enjoy every moment until the end… of the training session” which I think would be odd if he had decided to go. Also the fact...

Re: Transfer Rumours Thread - NO FINANCIAL DISCUSSION
Anyone think that if we are going 5 across the back, Taylor may be used as a centre back in the mould of say Kyle walker. Great recovery pace and last ditch challenger. Would do that job really well at this level with a more technical attacking wing back in the wide position. Then again I have absol...

Boa Vista was nice. Very underdeveloped outside of hotels. A mini desert. If your happy spending most of your time in hotel it is great.
We went quad biking around the desert when we were there which was a good way of looking around the island/desert.
Smallest desert in the world from memory.

Re: Summer 2022 Burnley Transfer Window Rumours - Links - Discussion
On balance I'd agree, Cornet started off his Burnley career with a bang, but following that bright start his goals dried up, and he does appear injury prone, plus I'm not convinced he'd be up for a year in the Championship, so if the release clause is met then I'd take the cash, and then reinvest i...

Re: England v New Zealand 3rd test
We should be picking the best opener in the county championship, which is clearly producing some better talent this year. Lees has shown a lot more than Crawley IMO and he earns a place with county runs. Crawley hasn’t really ever shown why he is in the team… As has been said he has talent and could...

Crawley shouldn’t be anywhere near that team. That 267 he got a couple of years ago has cemented his place seemingly forever. People question Popes inclusion, but he averages 50+ in county cricket, Crawley averages 30 in first class cricket. Pope shows huge potential as well with innings like today ...

I find the whole “pope won’t concede in the championship” and “Hennessy will be really good at championship level” thing quite bizarre. Dropping down a division doesn’t really change the quality of the shots coming the keepers way. What I mean is don’t expect Pope or Hennessy to look much better tha...

I’m sure you could find about 30 points we “could” have had over the course of the season, particularly with Chris wood about, but we don’t have those points and that’s why we’re battling relegation. Can’t change it, but what we can do is give everything to win the last couple of games…

Think about it. A win and a draw is very doable and will guarantee us survival. A loss on Thursday makes Sunday a very high pressure game and even then makes us rely on a Leeds or Everton result. A result at villa puts us right in the driving seat again.

He has had some poor games for us but in the right system with quality around him he’d be absolutely class. Got the attributes to be a proper winger in a 433. He’s all about excellent movement and two good feet technically. Not one to take people on really.

I much prefer Liverpool of the two. Have built a great team in a more “real” way, making profit some years and reinvesting from player sales. City have had 15 years of oil money, it would be hard for them not to be good at this stage.
