Re: Etihad stadium

Agree it's not the best ground to get away from but still like city's ground, if you want to see tourists with no idea of football then head down to arsenal, that ground is a soulless place full of em!

Graham branch always comes to mind with this topic, played more or less every position for us to help the team and the poor lad could still do no right for some!
Paul weller was another, cracking player who had 3 ops for colitis and still recieved plenty of grief!

You forgot carrying 5lb bags of potatoes home from the local shop and being knackered, according to the experts I am at least 3 stone overweight so I am now carrying about 9 bags of spuds round all day, no wonder I feel tired!

Re: This is tough!!

Did it. No excuses but I grew up drinking mainly around Accrington Rd late 70s, early 80s and there was a culture of heavy drinking, something I have calmed as I have got older mainly due to most of my old pubs shutting and many friends not going out as much. Not the 1st time I have tried dry Jan bu...

Tough question with this team.

In all my years of watching the clarets I have nearly always had a favourite player for the team I was watching at that time and in my personal view a best player. Well, with this lot I'm stumped, this is some team for the league we are in, I can not give you a favourite and my can't do without play...

When I first started drinking the old chaps used to say that if beer ever went to a pound a pint they would give up, sadly due to the price nowadays most of the boozers I went in are the things that have given up!

Looking at how Norwich behaved last night, mainly I think out of frustration at being given the run around our players will have to get used to the opposition trying to rough them up to get a foothold in the game.
Get our lads ready or maybe tougher referee's may help!
