Re: Next seasons kit
The sponsor dominates over everything, Massive Gold W... with pretty big white text underneath. Doubled up massive sponsor, just looks awful. Hoping the sponsor colour on the away one is like Villa's was at least, with a claret coloured sponsor. I like the look of the Claret on blue, at least it ble...

The Carlisle kit mentioned above is definately on birdsh*t kit territory. That Shields kit is really cheap looking with an awful collar too. https://www.footballshirtculture.com/images/2023/carlisle_united_2023_24_umbro_home_kit.jpg Awful.. looks like a birthday party table cover, for a 10 year old...

Heard on global radio this morning about the protests to government for us, Villa and Fulham having betting sponsors.
So came on here to see if the new shirt was announced/shown No sign of it though.

Saw it was on the screen asking fans in the North Upper to not throw missiles.
Shocking if true, but I also ask was there no netting? I know teams like Sheff Utd have huge black netting between the stands. Shouldn't be needed I know but it's there for the small % of idiots.

Keegans Man City team back in 2001/02 were the best team by a mile. Took them a while to go out and prove it (after the new year)
Although I wouldn't put us anywhere near that City teams level.

Sunderland fans I know couldn't believe they were 2-0 up.
They expected to get hammered from the start, told me they had no strikers and were also without there best winger.

Barnes in his prime wasn't about being in the air. He roughed people up, broke up play and got the opposition frustrated. Give him a decent partner (back in his prime) and he created space for them by being a nuisance and peeing off opposition defenders. I'd say he was better at opening space for ot...

Shame about Churlinovs injury. I know he got abit of stick for play acting against West Brom.
But from what I have seen he could be a real asset at this level, strong/tricky and not afraid to take men on.

I feel sorry to ask this as he's been a great servant over the year's. But what does Ashley offer? He doesn't fit in this current system, and I doubt he would even be much effective in the old system as he seems to have deteriorated alot in the last year. I love Barnes for his service and good times...

Always sat on the ‘in favour’ side when it comes to FA Cup Replays.
Been times when the revenue from an FA Cup Replay has changed the financial history of a football club for the better.
Really pathetic that the ‘elite’ think they have a right to control the whole sport.

Early days, but I don't think we've been pushed hard that much. 4th in the League, playing some nice stuff and unbeaten at home.
Pretty good considering the turnover of players and management.
Yes we could be more clinical in-front of goal at times, but overall I think it's been pretty damn good so far.

Off the top of my head Forest at home, when Jay bagged 4 in a midweek game, could be wrong mind you. Judging by all the yellow on the training/leisure wear, I can see there being a yellow away shirt.. or at least some sort of yellow coloring in it.
