Re: Summer transfer window 2023 - rumours, links and discussion.
Someone has asked Nixon on Twitter if there are any left backs linked with Burnley and the only answer was Maatsen. Might have all of our eggs in one basket on this one. Or Nixon doesn’t know. Berge said in his interview that he knew of Burnley’s interest for a while, but then we only knew about it...

I’m not sure why he’d go to Bayern to be honest. Yes he’d probably pick up silverware but winning the German league with Bayern is no great achievement, think they’ve won over 50% of German league titles.

But later it does veer closer to being an enhanced 'Season in Review' (which is fine for Burnley fans) and it isn't really a documentary. I’m not sure there’s anything happening other than games though. Jack Cork comments on the repetitive nature of a football season and if all you’re doing is winn...

I think taking the claret tinted specs off and being objective about it anyone would come to the same conclusion. I’d advise those that own a pair on claret tinted spectacles to keep them firmly balanced on their noses and enjoy it to the full. We’ve just had one of our best seasons ever and this i...

So if a pass comes to you and you make an attempt to control it but miscontrol it and the ball goes to an attacker in an offside position it’ll count as deliberately playing the ball rather than a deflection and the attacker ...

I think its the other way round in its more if a ball deflects off an attacking player either from a defender or a different attacker and would have been onside but for the deflection then this change would mean the deflection wont be considered as a deliberate play so it will still be onside. I think at some point personal responsibility comes into this.
