Wharton was excellent AFTER the first 10/15mins and the best midfielder on the pitch UNTIL Cork and Benson came on. His impact diminished massively when General Jack came on.

Re: How the hell did we lose that

**** poor defending. Really shambolic for both. I'm not sure we should take THB on loan next year because he's not part of our best defence. As for Jsy on the first. He should be clearing that throw Yet THB is the least culpable for the second goal, he’s the only man trying to mark his man. Beyer a...

Re: How the hell did we lose that

Barnes and JBG had offered nothing much throughout the game Jay and Twine offered even less Agree with point on the Maatsen sub - lost any control down the left hand side My point wasn’t necessarily who he changed but more both at the same time. I’d have swapped JBG for twine or Jay initially then ...

Well the last time we lost we played them lot straight after so hopefully well get the same outcome. I thought VK got his subs wrong yesterday, changing two attackers at the same time seem to disjoint us (Jay and Twine) taking Maatsen off left us even narrower (no left footer to stretch the pitch at...

Was going to comment this. A certain poster scored Barnes a 7 vs Sheffield - Barnes had a 42% pass completion rate (teams average was 85%, 0 chances created and 0 shots… he was generally way off his usual standards. Re: Reading v Burnley - Player Ratings

The interesting take here with Benson and (Foster to a degree) the argument about what he’s awarded is that v sheff Utd Barnes was awarded 6s and 7s by lots of people, yet he constantly gave the ball away and had zero threat on goal. What made that performance by Barnes better than Bensons or even F...
