Re: ARTICLE: Two part draw for next round of Europa League

Anyone know if there’s a stream for the draw?

Re: ARTICLE: Two part draw for next round of Europa League

St Gallen sounds like the hardest game if they get through....

All decent trips except the Armenia or Kazakh option.

Hillsborough 1983

Enough said.....

I’ve never felt more like singing the blues...hate that song to this day and Gary Megson for some reason...

Re: Raheem Sterling

It’s not like Sterling would have been guaranteed to score though. I assume you saw the miss against city last season along with the Tunisia game. Perhaps Harry didn’t want to risk it.

Re: Bitter about Aberdeen

Agree. This is the only time in 42 years of support that I have been unable to go to a game I wanted. It matters not that I was at Crewe in 87, Sheffield Wed in 83, every game I wanted to last season etc etc. The club needs to upgrade to an infrastructure and staffing ability to match its current po...

Re: Clarets Foundation

I suggest you read the BFC website:

Enjoy exclusive, guaranteed benefits.

Your membership includes the following guaranteed benefits:

Priority match ticket ordering service

They have always said this. Again whether they have always had a limited amount of tickets is irrelevant.

Re: Clarets Foundation

Pretty irrelevant tbh. If you pay for a service you expect to get it. You can state that a FM should come after loyalty points etc. The issue is that the club does not even mention FM in respect of tickets for the Europe tie. Basically, they know they have sold and continue to sell a dud..... It was...

Re: Clarets Foundation

Complaint made to Advertising Standards Authority re CAP code failings along with a complaint to the club supporter liaison officer.

Let’s see what happens next. The prediction is diddly squat but it always feels better to have pi55ed in the wind than needed to go and not be able....

Re: Clarets Foundation

There may be no breach of contract issue. However, there is definitely an issue with false advertising. The advertising standards authority CAP code states in section 3.1 that marketing communications must not materially mislead or likely to do so. Section 3.3 states marketing communications must no...

Re: Clarets Foundation

You have hit the nail on the head very subtly here.

This is an organisation which used to be a corner shop that is now the size of Tesco but still being run like a corner shop (in some areas)

Re: Clarets Foundation

I understand why I’m missing out and accept it. I was at all the midlands to southern based away games last season including Arsenal (where there was lots of issues about the 1500 approx tickets and many people with more points than me missing out). The club are continuing (as I understand) with the...

Re: Clarets Foundation

I don’t buy the UEFA line. The key issue is KYC which is why ID et all is required. If they don’t have enough info for adequate customer knowledge of a foundation member of 20 years then something is wrong. The foundation had its day when it was relevant but the more successful we have become should...

Re: Clarets Foundation

Agree that they don’t need the money anymore. Very much akin to a small business growing and then forgetting the core customers that helped along the way. They should cancel the foundation and replace with something appropriate to the needs of the new business model. What they shouldn’t do is contin...

Re: Clarets Foundation

I phoned the ticket office today with pretty much the same response. I joined the foundation around twenty years ago when it started so that I could always get a ticket when required as I live 250 miles away and only get to 6 or so home games per season (hence pointless getting a season ticket). Wha...
