Riveting watch and a wicket with the first ball of the last over which will probably be enough for Pakistan to win it, particularly if the keep Kohli off strike. Interesting last 5 balls to come!

And didn’t we sell Dave Thomas to QPR that season? We did in October 1972. He had scored 4 goals for us in Division 2 at the time and we had drawn at home to QPR in early September with Viv Busby scoring for them and Frank Casper equalising 3 minutes later. We lost 0-2 at QPR with goals coming from...

New Zealand have opened the Super 12 in a good fashion. Scored 200 for 3 in their 20 overs after getting off to a blistering start. Australia are now 7 for 1 off two overs with David Warner swinging at a delivery, bottom edge onto the pad and then bounced off the pad, back onto the bat which was abo...

Lots of credit to the Ashington lad who, within the space of 9 balls and with some decent catches ripped the heart out of the Aussies by dismissing Stoinis, David and Warner. Have a breather? Not really sure that’s the case as it seems to be the general rule that the team without the ball is spending far more time and effort trying to close down and chase the ball.
