Re: Match Day Thread - Man City v Burnley
Another game against City where we close down but refuse to put a tackle in.
When Leeds played City they got in their faces and tackled, rattled City but we refuse to do it.

NordVPN was on quidco last week with 100% cash back.
If you're not on quidco, register it's free, and VPN offers come on almost every other week. Antivirus is the same, I got McAfee for 2 years with 98% cashback last month.

Re: falling out of love with football?
For me it's not so much the EPL, it's more a case of the entertainment (I use this term loosely) served up. Over the last couple of seasons, the entertainment Burnley have served up, has been really poor in the main.
Football is about entertainment, I don't feel we get that currently

Except we then made Stephens our only signing... Which is still not ideal, having said that, at least Stephen's is younger than Lennon. Lennon is 33, 34 in April, whereas Stephen's is sprightly 31 year old. For me the Stephen's signing was the board trying to keep the fans and manager appeased duri...

How would you have gone about forcing Hendrick to sign ? Chinese burn...... Works every time :) For me, if there's a positive to take it's the fact we didnt tie Lennon down to a new contract. An aging, past his best bench warmer, tied down for another 2 years or so, isn't what we need in our "appro...

It would be just as accurate to claim that half of the world's internet users are hacked at some point.
In answer to the question, I've not been hacked no, and I reckon I'm just as likely to be hacked from using this site as I am using hesgoal etc.

If you are in a position where you need the money, money the club have retained for some eight months, you are threatened with potential price rises, withdrawal of the direct debit system and not being allowed to go into a ballot for any games this season. I call that bullying, I think it was shock...

2 years tracker with no fee.
Interests rates could go negative, can't see them moving much upwards anytime soon, I'd avoid fixing at present, especially if there's a fee to boot.
Just my opinion.

Re: Season Ticket Refunds-Help/Clarification Needed.
Thanks. It will be interesting to see what the club says. It's just that the 21/22 season is a long time off, and as you say anything can happen between now and then. £400+ is a lot of money to lose if you can no longer attend regular games 18 months down the line. I had a reply from the club..... ...

What happens if you continue paying your direct debit, effectively paying for your 21/22 season ticket in advance, but then your personal circumstances change, meaning you can no longer attend games during that season? Is there any way to get that money back, or would you just lose it? I emailed th...

All this does is encourage folk to gather together indoors,
Be that in the pub or at friends/relatives homes.
Stupid idea which will only assist with the spread of covid. Surely it would be safer to reopen grounds.

No, it's what you get when you have 7 injured! You saying those who left wouldn't be part of today's squad? You can't legislate for injuries, you can for first team squad players leaving, and you do that by replacing them. I would bet Hendrick, Lennon and Gibson would likely be starting with Hart o...

This bench is what you get when you see 4 first team squad players go, and don't react to rectify the shortage of numbers for 3 months.

Well, I for one will not be welcoming Stephen's with open arms.
I find it sad that the club would even consider signing a player who was on videos singing derogatory songs about the town a couple of years back.

Sorry folks, I've just put Rivers in my acca for today.
I can't see Jason doing anything for Bournemouth and the team has been shredded. Good time for the Horse botherers to play them, and at 3/1 there's value to be had IMO.
