Re: The system
Without defour and brady 4-5-1 is pointless as we have no creativity as pointed out above. We should have started with 4-4-2 as at least on thursday we created chances and Vokes should have started as at least he got into positions to miss ! If we are talking about spending, Lukaku missed a sitter the other night and I think he was 80 million. Benteke hasn’t scored for what seems like years. Taylor is only one player, who has played left wing before and left back isn't completely different to left wing, so it'd be more accurate if you'd said we're stuck playing a player slightly out of position instead of the hyperbolic phrase you used. Yes we can change the registered squad between qu...

I'm not getting carried away, because we don't have the creativity, or the strikers on form. It was a testament to how good our defence is. We also need to find a more dynamic striker, Perez went to West Ham for 4m could prove to be a bargain that, time will tell.

I suspect belgian claret should have got a few quid from the defour deal going off our inabillity to find any decent foreign players matching our budget and demands. We are two quality players away from a good run as we have bad injuries to good players, the board and club need to identify where we are lacking and invest a fair chunk of money in sorting it, job done, if only it was that easy!

We are desperate for pace, a good first choice striker and a right winger still even though Gudmundson has been ok on the right.
