I think that is now our main focus as a club and the footballing side is secondary. The strange comments from Kompany have done nothing to dissuade me of that. But surely VK and Alan Pace must realise that unless we are constantly at the top table then everything depreciates and buying raw players ...

If anything them tables highlight that our failure to take any points from top 8 teams was one of the reasons we were relegated that season. Shows how important it is to be competitive against the top teams The table at the bottom are the Norwich results. We managed to take points off the top teams...

Here are the comparable tables for the last five seasons when we were in the Prem and where we acquired the points.

We've got to ensure we do take a few points off the top sides, otherwise we'll end up like Norwich.

not harmed Brighton much but they are way further along their journey. If we bring young lads in and sell them on to bigger and better things that helps us attract the next one as they see a route to a big club. I meant after the first Dyche PL season we were relegated and kept together the majority of the side (bar Tripps and Ings) and bounced back with largely the same group. Honestly, why anyone would think we could beat Champions League teams, top 4-8 quality, big City clubs witb Saudi state backing, away from home, with a team of largely 18-21 year olds who have never kicked a ball in this league… is, well, beyond me. Difficult to work out the standard of the Prem at times. Watkins looked very good for Villa yet play him for England and he looks completely out of his depth.

Such as shame. It's arguably the most famous part of the "Military Way" which is the most visible piece of the wall that runs for about 20 miles (84 miles in total) from Bowness on Sea to Wallsend.

In the last 10 years we have played them 16 times and won 1. We have taken 2 points out of 24 at home! it's not a gap its a chasm Money talks. These money clubs didn't need to join the super league to ruin the pyramid they've already done it But it's always been a struggle for promoted clubs to stop up. If it's never been as big how come Derby only got 11 points, & Villa 16 points quite a few season...
