Re: What's the reason Brownhill is playing instead of Jack Cork?

Legs is the answer to the OP’s question I would think. I would like to see all 3 play tbh with McNeil and Cornet/JBG either side in a 4-5-1. I actually thought Brownhill was really excellent second half yesterday with massive work rate and some neat passing too.

Pope 6 Lowton 7 Tarkowski 8 Mee 7 Taylor 7 JBG 6 Brownhill 7...anonymous first half but the best I've seen him second half when he was a big factor in our dominating territory Westwood 5 ..I'm really annoyed with him for the foul for the free kick. I thought Brownhill was absolutely excellent second half today. Seemed to be everywhere ,won/intercepted countless balls and drove forward well too. Only criticism is I want him to shoot more..maybe I'm still clinging to that wonder goal he scored at Millwall.

It strikes me that there are likely to be more League Clubs than usual who having by then conceded that they're not in the promotion races will be looking to cash in on one or two of their better players? Pwehaps but nowadays so many clubs stay in contention for the play-offs deep into the season.

No need to watch the film after watching that trailer !! One of my pet peeves is film trailers that tell the whole story of the film, or near to it, and that is a good example. The only bit it didn't show was the broken neck accident but we all know that happened anyway.

That was good but I think the immediate aftermath of the previous game..away at Reading...was an even bigger "high" of euphoria. Probably because it was floodlit , we were packed into one corner of the ground and had had two screamers scored directly in front of us.
