People suggesting Delph isn't good enough need to remember that most of our squad has come from the Championship or below. Signing Ashley Westwood was greeted with the same sort of welcome and that didn't work out too bad did it.

I'm for it, but it would have to be the right investor for the right reason. It is clear we cannot progress from where we are without outside investment, and Covid-19 has stretched the clubs finances even more than normal. It will be a testing season without it.

Not that we have any say in this, but if it's £60 million we should sell him. Our strength comes from the entire time, and not an individual. We could get some quality additional players with that money. Also, we shouldn't stand in the lads way if that is what he wants.
