Kompany was class in his interview after the game, unlike Heckingbottom at the weekend
He was magnificent IMO acknowledged too by your man from Brentford
We have one hell of a man in charge
Principled as Sean was but better

4 mins added time a joke
4.34 mins played an even bigger joke
Bet it would have been different had it been 1-0 to Everton with Arseholes chasing the game

The Northern ex FL clubs seem to way out number the Southern ones. New or re-entries to the FL are about equally divided between "North and South"

You can't count them both. Two totally different clubs who were both in existence at the same time. That must apply to MK Dons and AFC Wimbledon ? Which club won the FA Cup? Which one was in the Premier League what is now MK Dons or what is now Wimbledon? AFC Bournemouth and Bournemouth & Boscombe ...

Accrington by a country mile. It left the Football League in 1896 and never returned. When Stanley came in it was a totally different club.
Even allowing the games of both to count there will be a country mile

Notts County would apparently have been the first to 5000 but for relegation to the National league and will pass 5000 when they play game 14 this season They were in the National League from 19-20 to 22-23 season Suspect Accrington and then Everton followed by Villa of the original 12 will have the...

Good win and report CT. Exciting times maybe with our younger squads. any chance/news of getting Cat1 back? But "That was until Joe Westley (pictured) equalised in the final minute of the half, converting a Kian Le Fondre cross with the former making his final contribution before giving way to Lewis...

I know he isnt listed as home grown but given he was on Bristol City books for 4 years would he not quality as in 1999 when he joined Bristol he would have been just 18, or according to your listed DOB which I think is wrong,17 meaning he was with the club 3 years before 21 years of age or 20 years ...

And still no statue of Barry, the man who provided the funds to re-ignite the Club. Without him there would not have been the bunch of local business men including Garlick who got us from league one to (coming up) 24 years in the top two Divisions, 9 in this league.

(Of course, impressionists wouldn't do "blackface" any more, or caricature ethnic minorities - and rightly so.)
You mean like John Bird doing Idi Amin Dada on TW3-why not?
Yarwood had the Gannex coat and pipe for Wilson.

Happy Birthday John, and as for your body catching up, as agreenwood suggests, mine went way past my mental age years ago. Have a good day. Be interesting to see how many of us think at what age our mental age started to lag behind our body age. In many ways I would say mid 20's but not for everyth...

I think he suffered from health problems more common today than then but that resulted in his decline rather than his mimicry being unfashionable. Agree Maggie made it difficult playing one character but he had mastered so many and would have been able to master others had he lost the midas touch. R...

Plastic surgery? Didn't quite look like the old Freddie. Also looked like a bloke who had been let out for the day. A bit bemused and overwhelmed by it all. Luckily, he was amongst friends. Diplomatic or not this present defence is performing as badly as our defence in 2009-10 when we went from poor under Coyle to awful under Laws But then most of our squad has little experience of this league and we hadn’t an £100 million transfer budget There really is nothing to be gained from shunn...

So was Dyche and we let in 5 against Spurs when he was our manager too. Not after spending £100 million on players and not sure we conceded 5 at home under Dyche or 11 in three consecutive home games Our present defence and MF are similar to 2009-10 and the Howe era Folk can criticise Dyche but as ...

ON CT's squad list I counted 25 players >21 on Jan 1st 2023 and 8 <21 giving us a squad of 33 which includes 4 keepers, 2<21yr of age. We do have a few long term injuries, Obafemi, Churlinov, Ekdal (as seems likely) and for today at least possible Ramsey, Vitinho and Zaroury still two matches to go ...

I think he was born in 2001 and not 2002 which means he is in the 25 and at present if thats the case we have 25 over 21 unless we leave out Obafemi due to injury and then maybe Bastien leaving today, Churlinov still getting over his illness, maybe Ekdal a longer term injury plus any other outgoings...

Not sure we will lose many players next week Excluding Churlinov and Obafemi who are both injured and will be out of our 25 squad I imagine we have 22 players over 21 to be in the 25 squad Highly likely Bastien will leave so that makes 21 and therefore if we wish room for 4 signings either loans or ...

Lets hope we stay up because if we dont where are the megabuck sales coming from?
Last season we did the improbable-whole sale restructure new team and got promotion
Can we do it a second time-another rebuild and stay up?
I know Forest managed it last season, so many teams haven't in the past.

Reggie Cannon on a free from Boavista. Can't be bothered trawling back through posts to see if he has already been mentioned. Could be an explosive signing.
Plays as RB and quit Boavista in June due apparently to unpaid money owed to him
Also been disputes over transfer fee owed by Boavista

Everyone reporting that teams can sign Brownhill on the cheap as he only has a year left. Haven't we got the option of another year?
It does say on CT's player list 2024+ which is I think an option of another year by the Club-so potentially until end of 2024- 2025 season
