Brilliant player, brilliant goal. But not as good as his goal against Bristol City in the FA Cup. Imagine if Bergkamp, Cantona or Zole had scored that.
I don't know why but my favorite ever PL goal was Barnes' winner against Palace.

Re: Playing the strongest side in the FA Cup against Huddersfield
You could well be correct, Cornet will be away with the IC by then, and Barnes, Roberts & Stephens are long term injuries, but the rest should touch wood be available for SD to select if he wishes. We'll probably play Man U, but the Leeds game looks in severe doubt, which will mean by the time the ...

But the game got postponed due to additional injuries, not covid cases. There is no way on earth that a calf injury can be disproved, for example, if the player says it's sore. I think it's reasonable for the club to expect you to search the ticket website if you're as bothered about a refund as you claim to be. And I had checked the website but couldn't see anything. Re: January 2022 Burnley Transfer Window Rumours - Links - Discussion
I was told the other week that Brownhill is better than Pogba. This logic on here doesn’t make sense to me, the same people that say these players should be playing for top 6 teams are also the same ones that say Dyche is working miracles. It can’t be both ways. No you weren't told that as you full...

Can’t imagine he’s on peanuts Tony. Rumoured to be on mid 30k a week (sounds about right). I think he was signed to start alongside Westwood, I think they would compliment each other quite well. I dont believe he was signed as a regular first teamer. He was in my view clearly signed as back-up and ...

Re: ALK Capital or Farnell/Elkashashy takeover
To be fair, we may still be relegated this time, but if we are it really won't be down to ALK. It will be down to the lack of investment and forward thinking by Garlick, and surely that CAN'T be denied. I don't know what the future holds, and I'm unsure and unconvinced it will be rosy, but no-one w...

My wife tested positive for antibodies way back when NHS clinicians were tested for antibodies and she had no suspicion that she'd already had covid - as we know many people get it, are asymptomatic and haven't had a positive test.

I think Dyche has done a great job, I think his greatest achievement was the Europe season, top 10 and the first promotion season. I think the other seasons he has achieved arguably what he was set out to do. But Boatshed is correct, 2021 has arguably been the worst year of his career. He needs a b...

I'm not sure that's a fair analysis of opinions on this thread. I think most of us agree SD has done a good job, the problem is some believe he is better than good, and they will go to any lengths to try to prove it. I'm happy to say I am one of those who thinks he's done better than a good job. Su...

Are you referring to a negative lateral flow test or a vaccination record? If the former, the negative test must be 24/48 hours before the event. If the latter, I'd guess it's to deal with the fact that the vaccines don't last forever and requirements can/will change, e.g. boosters added. The NHS A...
