Re: Lester Crisp versus Mighty Clarets
Once Brady went off our performance echoed the that of last season. Hard work and some decent spells but no cutting edge. Arfield very poor when he came on. In the end we could only muster some half chances and they fashioned 2/3 really good chances. 1-0 a fair result.

Re: O/T XBox question
There is (or was) a relatively obscure way of doing this - Google ‘Xbox One game sharing’ and you can find instructions. It may not work anymore but it certainly used to, although it was only ever valid with games downloaded with a code rather than disk. Worth a shot.

Imagine being Dyche and walking into Everton as their new manager - at the Turf he is number one. Players know their role, there are no massive egos but a togetherness and understanding that Dyche has carefully fostered over 5 fruitful years at the club. It would be a difficult task for Dyche to joi...

Lowton has become one of my favourite Burnley players. He is consistent, strong-willed and a very under-rated player. I suppose we are lucky to be in a position where we could describe any of our players with those words.

No doubt that Defour will be disappointed but it was a calamitous bit of defending to concede the corner and then we were outmuscled for the header. Preventable on more than one front.

There was a ground attendant with a sheet of paper that had several seat numbers written on it. He came over to a couple of blokes near me and was challenging them that their season tickets were u22s. Might not be connected to what the OP saw but this happened in the Cricketfield end.

Awful defending for their goal. Sadly it's the 3rd goal he's been at fault for. Saying that, Mee shouldn't be getting beat in the air to Phillips in the build up.joey13 wrote:How did Tarkowski do ?

Without pace up front or any form of semi-mobile threat the opposition will move further up the field. People judging Gray's influence JUST off his goal return are foolish, his pace scared teams and forced them to play a lot deeper.

If there's any truth in this I'm sure Dyche has done his research. The lad didn't really get chance at Everton (can't blame them, they have Lukaku) but he did pretty well at Hull. He's mobile and powerful. A couple of his goals for Hull were tidy finishes. If the money is right then so be it.

It's clear that Tarkowski and Long aren't good enough to keep us in the PL next season. It's down to Mee and Keane at the heart of the defence.
