Many of the new signings do not have the experience at Premier league level or the physicality. A few years back they would have only been signed for a fraction of what we paid and either sent out on loan or under 21s to get experience and hardened up. Its incredible that we have brought these in to...

Last year I bought some walking boots from Go Outdoors in Manchester. I usually take a size 9. The store has advisor's plus inclined walking test platforms, etc. to help get the correct fit. I ended up with size 11s. Size 11s!! So I will not be criticising anyone for their feet.

Used to watch Alan West during the pre match warm up, doing fancy ball tricks. Wondered at the time if we had missed a trick by not keeping him. But this was Burnley, we had to sell players. Worse to come later with the sales of Dobson, Nulty and James.

I remember watching it on match of the day. Collins played on with a swollen eye socket and Jimmy Hill made a prat of himself. Not for the first; remember him blaming a ball boy once for not returning the ball quick enough.

Was a good win though.

I also remember the Sunday Mirror report using the old joke where Paul Fletcher sees Joe Corrigan after the game and nods at him, Corrigan is so traumatised he automatically dives into the gutter.

Lower mark for decision making because of giving only 4 minutes added time. All the subbing and play acting from United must be at least twice that.
