Re: Offside rule
Just keep it simple - interfering with play is a nonsense and only makes the job of officials more difficult. If you’re off, you’re off. Same with the long wait to blow for a decision. There are too many times when it’s left too long and runs the risk of injury to a player. Re - injuries - surprise...

What a player Akinbiyi was for us. Phenomenal. Especially in the first spell. Even in the second though played his part. This was my 21st weekend. Sorry - just had a quick look at WIki for the 1996 Anglo-Italian Cup - only eight teams entered from England and eight from Italy. Port Vale lost in the final to Genoa at Wembley. That would have been a class day out.

This is what Wiki says about it The competition was played intermittently between 1970 and 1996 between clubs from England and Italy. It was founded by Gigi Peronace, following the two-team Anglo-Italian League Cup in 1969. The initial Anglo-Italian Cup was played as an annual tournament from 1970 ...

Spicer gets 10 out of 10 for volunteering but considerably less than 10 for his performance. Surprised Marlon didn't save Ade's penno. Didn't he have an incredible record of saving pens - particularly whilst at BFC?

If America is serious about changing gun laws all it's citizens need to do is go and vote. And keeping voting. But they don't.

10 point gap?
There will be some teams that won't get 10 points from their next 11 games so we should be fine as we are. Even if we continued our current form that gap would be 15.

In reality though it only looks as though West Brom are 'gone'. The rest could turn it around I'd imagine. Probably all comes down to who has the worst run-in.
