I know these games mean very little, but we look clueless. And if you look back at the Euros and last World Cup, how many good teams have we actually beaten? It's bad timing, but questions have to be asked of Southgate

Re: England vs Hungary
Of the 12 England players to have featured so far tonight, I'd probably only have 5 in starting XI. I think it's been quite a weak selection throughout this Nations League As for the Foden comment above, I think Southgate was naive not using him more in the Euros, but surely he's now a certain start...

He didn't do what I expected him to do. I've watched it time and again and any decent striker would have scored, simple as that for me. There was an entire discussion on this, and most people came to the conclusion that he did everything right, and was just unlucky. It was superb defending from Min...

I've been really worried about the lack of Kompany news over the last few days. However: The other serious option (Gladbach) seems now off the cards I've not heard any news that he isn't coming There still seems to be transfer talk that suggests he is coming (TH-B) There's isn't talk of anyone else ...

I imagine he’s keeping quiet for now awaiting the sanction. I think they’ll find a reason not to give a ban so they can argue it the delay wouldn’t have impacted the outcome. Big fine incoming. Didn't Carragher get a ban after he threw a coin? I'm not sure this is any less. Although given how thing...

Re: How Full is Each Premier League Ground
Wasn't it Utd making threats to non-attending ST holders? I've checked and it was, they want ST holders to attend a minimum of 10 home games or lose their tickets. I lost count of the number of home games I missed last season due to last minute changes from TV scheduling, weather and COVID. Ended u...

Changes to rules because of Brexit wouldn't have affected an American would they? There was some discussion on this, or another thread regarding Knutsen. I think someone posted the current rules at the time. (Sorry, can't remember what they were). http://www.uptheclarets.com/messageboard/viewtopic....

According to the Premier League they have operated within the rules It is suspicious though... ●£372m losses over 3 years ●£170m wiped due to Covid (although this number is inconsistent with other clubs) ●£172m therefore over 3 years, £67m over the permitted £105m They say this £67m can all be attr...

The three person panel who upheld the decision were Gary Mabbutt, Stuart Ripley and former England player Faye White. I feel dejected. Annoyed. Frustrated. And no summer tournament to distract me. Instead I'm all-consumed by the unanswered questions of Who is the next manager? Which players will be sold? Who might we buy? Are we financially crippled? On a brighter note I'm thinking of grounds I can get to that I've...

I heard Celtic considered him but opted against. Didn't know he'd rejected others
His history at B/G seems to sit nicely with what I imagine Pace et al want here
